Aplayz, an AI-based startup providing space-customized music curation services, announced on the 31st that it has obtained the 'KTR AI Mark' certification for AI technology quality assurance from the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR).
The KTR AI Quality Certification is awarded based on international standards such as ISO/IEC 25059 and ISO/IEC 25058, which were jointly developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The certification involves a comprehensive evaluation of AI performance, including reliability, security, usability, and robustness.
The certified AI technology analyzes the specific purpose and real-time context of a space—such as stores or offices—including factors like weather, time of day, crowd density, and user preferences, to broadcast the optimal music playlist. Rather than simply providing a list of songs, the service is characterized by its ability to digitize the atmosphere of a space and precisely connect it with the unique characteristics of each location.
During the certification process, Aplayz met all quality requirements with excellent scores across all categories, including the appropriateness of the AI model's training data, algorithm accuracy, and system operational stability. With this verified excellence, the company aims to secure more large franchises and diverse corporate clients.
"Based on our proven technological capabilities, we will strengthen cooperation with major partners and provide more reliable smart space marketing solutions to small business owners and corporate customers," said Bae Jung-jin, CEO of Aplayz.
