Hyundai Engineering Selects 15 Promising Startups for Support

“Expanding Public-Private Collaboration for Co-Growth with Startups”

[Choice Economy, Reporter Choi Mi-rim] Hyundai Engineering & Construction (Hyundai E&C) announced on the 10th that it has selected 15 companies with innovative technologies through its “2024 Hyundai E&C x Seoul Startup Open Innovation” program, a public contest aimed at supporting and nurturing outstanding startups.

According to Hyundai E&C, this program is an open innovation initiative designed to foster a co-growth ecosystem between the construction industry and startups. Applications were received from March 28 to April 19, with a total of 227 startups applying. After evaluation and business plan reviews, 15 startups were finally selected.

The selected companies include: ▲HOP ▲Seoul Dynamics ▲Dogugonggan ▲AM Autonomy ▲Bricon Lab ▲FrictTech ▲ThreeThirds ▲Aplayz ▲HiCoreTech ▲Korea Green Data ▲DA Lab ▲Algorigo ▲PolyArt ▲Sunny WaveTech ▲The Miracle Soft.

Hyundai E&C plans to provide various benefits to the selected startups, including opportunities for real-world application of their technologies, joint development of new technologies and products, business commercialization support, follow-up collaboration opportunities, and potential investment reviews.

A Hyundai E&C representative said, “We will continue expanding public-private collaboration to ensure ongoing support for scale-up, investment attraction, and incubation opportunities, fostering sustainable co-growth with startups.”
